Powerful Web 2.0 Rich UI and REST-Based App Creation Tools, so you can get back to more productive web development

Building a Web Application needs to be a lot of work. If you want to use the latest technologies, you need to be ready to invest a lot of time and money. In this tutorial, we’ll cover the high-level workflow in creating a REST-based Web application with ASP.NET MVC and Javascript libraries.
A lot of IT developers have used Microsoft technologies in building web applications. So, we won’t go into details about how to use ASP.NET MVC, the Javascript libraries, Web Forms, and JQuery.
Our focus will be to look at the high-level process in building a Web application, and the underlying technology that will make it all work.
We’ll be using Visual Studio 2015 and C#. However, the process should be broadly similar in other IDE’s and languages.

Developing a Web App can be a difficult task. Let’s look at some concepts and technologies that will help you create a Web app, deploy it and make it available to the World Wide Web.
The Basics
We will be using Microsoft Visual Studio 2015 to create the Web application. Visual Studio includes a bunch of technologies that will help us develop our web app.
These are:
Asp.Net MVC – ASP.NET MVC is the web framework that is most commonly used to create web applications. It is Microsoft’s open source Web framework, which is lightweight and loosely coupled. It is extensible through adding libraries and components. The functionality provided by Asp.Net MVC is a stripped down version of ASP.NET, which is Microsoft’s closed source framework.
Asp.Net Web API –

In this tutorial, we will look at how to create a real-time collaborative Application using the PowerBI.com Web App.
PowerBI.com lets you use your existing data to create custom business intelligence tools or dashboards to share with team members, friends, or even the world.
In this tutorial, we will be creating a real-time collaborative application using PowerBI.com. We will be using the Data Visualization service from PowerBI.com to generate a chart, which will display the values of a value in the form of a pie chart.
You can create custom reports using the data visualization service in PowerBI.com.
The application will be a simple one.

EGL Community Edition Crack+

Rational EGL is a Java application platform that simplifies the creation of rich Web 2.0 style applications. Its rich HTML, JavaScript, and AJAX support makes it easy to create applications with intuitive, dynamic interaction. EGL also provides comprehensive support for Java development, making it easy to write Java services that can easily be consumed by rich, Web 2.0 style clients such as IBM Lotus Sametime 5.5.
EGL Community Edition Features:
Overview: EGL Community Edition makes it easy to build Web 2.0 style applications. EGL leverages Java as the development platform. Java developers can add robust AJAX functionality to their applications. EGL’s rich HTML, JavaScript, and AJAX support makes it easy to create applications that respond dynamically to user interaction. EGL’s rich Java development support makes it easy to write Java-based services that are exposed to rich clients in web browsers.
Rich HTML Support: EGL Community Edition provides the rich HTML and JavaScript features of the IBM Web Experience Technology Suite. The HTML DOM and JavaScript document object model can be used to manipulate content on screen, add dynamic content, and create powerful user experiences. HTML is then translated into native Java.
JavaScript and HTML Support: EGL Community Edition adds support for JavaScript and HTML to the Java platform. To be able to use these languages, developers need to add libraries to their applications. EGL’s built-in support for JavaScript makes it easy to build rich client-side applications that can receive and display information from servers. For example, EGL supports the SOAP Web Services protocol, allowing Java developers to expose SOAP-based services that can be consumed by JavaScript clients. The HTML DOM and JavaScript API can be used to create robust and interactive user experiences.
Java AJAX Support: EGL Community Edition includes a rich support for AJAX, the new standard for Web development. With its AJAX support, EGL lets developers quickly create new types of applications that integrate data from other sources. For example, it makes it easy to create rich text editors that support Ajax.
XML Viewer: EGL Community Edition lets developers easily create interactive Web views that can display content in XML, the de-facto standard for server-side data-transfer.
WDDM 1.3: EGL Community Edition supports the WDDM 1.3 specifications. With the WDDM specifications, it is easy to create rich, client-side Web applications that can integrate with Java services.

The problems I’m facing are:
1) Although the EGL is installed, it does not show under Eclipse. When I run the application, it throws an error of “J2EE web application deployment descriptor not found, please create a web.xml deployment descriptor.”

So, I searched through a lot of forums and tried with the following:
1. Create a “web.xml” in the same package as that of the egl-project.
2. Replaced the “web.xml” in egl-project with the created one.
3. Removed the “web.xml” and created the one in the project.

None of the above worked for me. Please let me know if anyone knows what to do.

Yours,
Aravind

I solved the problem by following the same steps that are explained in this:

It says that if your web.xml is not found, then you have to create it under the /src/main/resources folder and do not forget to include it in WEB-INF folder.
The main difference with my case is that I had tried for such a long time to generate the web.xml for one of my projects. So, I couldn’t find that “src/main/resources” folder.

Sierra Clubs Press: Climate Change Is an “Imminent Danger” to American Energy

Over 100,000 Sierra Club members are fighting the proposed Northern Border Pipeline as a threat to our environment, clean energy and economy.

Yesterday, the Sierra Club made the following statement in response to what the Obama Administration is doing to stop the project:

“For the sake of our climate, it is more urgent than ever that the Obama administration use the powers it has to require this project to be rejected. This project would be the largest single source of Canadian oil to be shipped by tanker to the United States. The Obama administration has the power to reject the project and insist that Canadians and Canadians’ resources stay in Canada. But it has made clear that it is not willing to exercise that power.”// Copyright 2011-2016 Google LLC
